Military Travel Loans
5/15/2011
The summer travel season is right
around the corner, and many military
service members are planning
vacations, cruises, visits to home,
R&R, and other travel. But travel is
costing a little more these days, and
a military travel loan could help meet
travel expenses. Online, there are a
few specific military travel loan
companies. One, which we won't name
but ranks well in the listings, is not
exactly reputable in our opinion. We,
of course, recommend Pioneer Military
Loans for cash to meet travel
expenses. With a Pioneer Loan from
Pioneer Services, you won't have to
worry if the company you are borrowing
from is reputable. Pioneer is the
recognized industry leader in personal
cash loans to military service members
and their families. |
Tax Time: Military Personnel Should
Avoid Refund Anticipation Loans
3/14/2011
For many people, the lure of quick
cash is hard to resist. Income tax
preparation services know this all too
well, and will use this to their
advantage by offering Refund
Anticipation Loans (RALs). With a RAL,
a taxpayer can get their tax refund
quickly, but at a steep price. Many
RALs carry high rates, fees and
additional charges, bumping the APR in
some cases above 100% and taking a
hefty chunk out of the refund. For
military servicemembers and families -
like all consumers - it's best to wait
the week or two for the full refund. |
New Year is a Good Time for a Military
Consolidation Loan
1/03/2011
The New Year is a great time to get
your finances in order. If you've got
debt from more than one source, one of
the best ways to get your finances in
order is to get a consolidation loan
and consolidate all of your debt into
one easy payment. With a consolidation
loan, you'll be out of debt before you
know it! Military consolidation loans
are also good for people coming in to
the military. With recent economic
difficulties, some people who are
joining, or have recently joined the
military, have debt incurred during
civilian life. A military
consolidation loan, together with a
steady military paycheck, is a great
way to get rid of that debt. That's
what James M., a US Army Soldier
formerly stationed in Kosovo, did. After
joining the Army, he consolidated all
of his civilian debt into one military
loan that was automatically deducted
by allotment from his paycheck. He
states he didn't even notice the money
was going towards the loan, and had it
paid off before he knew it without
even giving it a second thought. We
recommend Pioneer
Military Loans for consolidation
loans. |
The Holidays and Military Loans
12/15/2010
The Christmas holidays are the busiest
time of the year for military loan
companies as thousands of military
servicemembers and their family
members obtain military loans for
gifts, travel and other holiday
expenses. But many of these same
servicemembers have a rude awakening
in the New Year when the military
loans come due and financial reality
sets in.
While military loans can be useful
during the holidays, they can also
lead to further financial difficulties
in the New Year. That's why potential
borrowers should carefully weigh the
pros and cons of what they are buying
at Christmas. There's nothing as
priceless as a son or daughter waking
up on Christmas morning and finding
the toys they wanted under the
Christmas tree. Military loans can
make that happen, and when used
responsibly, are a positive financial
tool. But military loans can also make
future financial difficulties happen,
when used irresponsibly. Before
obtaining a military loan for the
holidays, potential borrowers should
not only assess their financial
situation, but also their entire
gift-buying outlook. Oftentimes, a
simple gesture of good will, or a
thoughtful low-cost Christmas present,
will go as far in making someone's
Christmas as a "big-ticket" item.
